"I'm not dead!"
Despite my lack of doing much at all on DA of late, I have in fact been rather ludicrously busy. Here's a lowdown of the highlights:

I live in Boscombe, Bournemouth, Dorset now. Must remember to update the DeviantID.
I've moved in with the awesomely amazing :iconesquiskwerl: [link] ESQUI!!! Love you forever, my beautiful squiggle <3
Me and Esqui have now been together for 5 months and it just keeps getting better.

Seemingly unable to coax mundane employment from the System, I have decided to pursue my own business plans. One way or another, I shall make enough to survive. One cannot stay on JSA etc forever.
My main buisiness idea at ze moment is to become a Lego Certified Professional ( [link] ). This will involve designing Lego models to order for commissions or just as random art. Amongst other ideas I shall be considering:
3D sculptures of fursonas (examples to be posted soon)
Dioramas
Models of vehicles, buildings etc
Full size vehicles, buildings etc (I kid thee not - see below)
Fully functional Lego items for everyday use, including two designs already completed -
The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project saw me design a Desktop Computer case to full ATX specification, made from 100% Lego (a real working computer resides within) - [link] (stoodleysnow was my old pre-furry online name)
Project Legotop (see page 10 of the above linked forum thread) is a fully working laptop where everything that can be Lego is.
If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the above, or commissioning me, please let me know in the comments on this journal or shoutbox.
Last weekend, James May held an open House Building event, where people were invited to help him build a Lego house (full size, complete with functional Lego everything (including toilet, shower, kitchen...)) and I was lucky enough to get there just about early enough to obtain one of the coveted first-come, first-served tickets. 600 tickets were available and 1900 people turned up. 1300 had to be turned away, but some of those hung around anyway to watch from the perimeter.
After hours of queueing and being left no choice but to buy overpriced refreshments and burgers, I finally got into the enclosure where there were lots of people constructing breeze-blocks from Lego ready to be built into the house, which was to be built on a spot on the hillside above. Interestingly, I had visited that spot in between queueing earlier, and found 6 four-leaf clovers within a square metre of each other in ten minutes flat. I met his royal James May-ness, shook his hand and let him know I had some design ideas to share for inclusion in the house. He said he'd get back to me but in the end didn't have the time. Fortunately, a bloke called Craig Stevens ( [link] ) did have the time, and I'm hoping to be able to go into business with him, judging by what was said. Stay tuned.

In other nose,. I still have a mountain of hypnosis files to make for the good folks at [link] (don't worry, I haven't forgotten you!) - the production of my first hypnosis 'album' has led to the creation in conjunction with [link] Equium of 'The Anthro Dream' which has racked up his most page views on FA to date. One of these days I'll actually record the song that goes with that tune and it won't sound too cruddy for release.
An Atom Of Freedom has progressed, albeit slowly, and I will be getting on with it, as and when I can. I'm also considering creating Lego dioramas of some scenes for the enjoyment of readers who like to buy Lego sets of stuff in books. Whoever they might be.

And if all else fails, don't forget I can fix, rebuild, reinstall, whatever any computer if it has a problem or build a new one if you want it. I can even make them from Lego, so if you have IT trouble and can get to Bournemouth or are within a couple of hours's journey of Bournemouth and willing to pay for the train/bus fares, let me know. Discount rates for furries!

And as arty things go, I am making progress with [link] Littlewolf's picture. Otherwise things are pretty much pending everything else.

My own FA: [link]
I try to keep both FA and DA about equally updated.

  • Listening to: Equium's excellent compositions
  • Reading: The Dark Tower V: Wolves Of The Calla/Stephen King
  • Watching: Lego bricks... so many Lego bricks!
